quickest way to change printer orientation

I am using Office 2003. I frequently have to change the printer orientation
from portrait to landscape. There MUST be an easeier way than Control
Panel>Printers>to specific printer>printer preferance> portrait/landscape

File, page setup, landscape.

When you are ready to print, File, print, properties, landscape. Each printer
has its own settings. There will be a tab that has the orientation dialogue.

That changes the printer default preferences. You change the "temporary"
setting in the Application itself, File, Page Setup is where you will

An even easier way to do it is to set up a little macro to print in
landscape by using the macro recorder. No programming skills are
required, you simply switch macro record on, assign it to a button and
then go through the keystrokes to set the printer to landscape and
print. Finally reset the printer to portrait so that you are back to
your default psoition and stop recording. You will now have a print
in landscape one click button which you can place in any toolbar you
want. Sounds complex but its actually quite easy as the Word walks
you through it.

If you are going to go to that much bother, you may as well just create
a second instance of the printer and Set it to "Landscape". That way you
have it for ALL applications, not just Word.
