Quicktime Transitions

Thanks for the response to my last question,

I have another one, if that's okay. I noticed that there are a set of
Quicktime transitions to choose from, and also regular transitions. Is
there a difference between these two sets and if I choose one of the
Quicktime transitions, will it work okay on a windows computer?

Seraya,

To the best of my knowledge (which for the macs is pretty slim)....the
quicktime transitions are a mac only feature.
