Quicktime

Hello all,

Looking for anyone or any help with using the .mov file extension in their web site to run a short video of about 30 seconds. I am currently using FrontPage 2000. Is there anyone who has successfully done this and how? I've tried downloading the JimCo "Spawn" software as suggested in an earlier discussion, as a means of creating a pop-up window that I could then embed the .mov file within and then run it with the Quicktime Player. The problem is that the Frontpage version that I have installed is in French, the spawn software apparently only works with english and does not work with my copy. Or, is there a precise way of converting the .mov file to a PC video format that I then could insert into my web page? Last but not least, not quite sure that I understand correctly, by inserting the video via FrontPage, you have to unclick any Netscape browser functions - why is this? Does this mean that people who use Netscape would not be able to see your video? If this is the case, is there a way that both Internet and Netscape users can enjoy the video or is it just a simple matter of what "Player" you're using (ie Real, Windows, Quicktime etc.) I know I'm asking for a lot, the moon perhaps, but am looking for a solution that could work within my novice capacities. Many thanks!!

Yes the case may be that the imbedded video on works in Internet Explorer....only
other option is possibly to provide a link for NS users, to download and view the
video.
