Quintiles

I am trying to split my data set into five equal parts. I
have tried sup-queries, but data of equal value tend to
screw things up. I have tried TOP N and TOP N PERCENT,
but it isn't working right. For example, if I
code "SELECT TOP 24000", Access pulls 24,302. Same thing
with %. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
