Hi, folks.
I've recently taken over as the moderator of our neighborhood mailing
list. One of our long-time subscribers uses Entourage (User-Agent:
Microsoft-Entourage/11.4.0.080122 - is that 2004?) and her messages
always appear as though her own (new) text is part of the quoted
message she's replying to. For instance:
***begin example***
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
As you can see, her reply is quotated at the same level as the message
she's replying to.
In addition, it appears that Entourage is using some nasty non-ascii
characters even in the plain-text version of her message. (Our group
is set to strip any non-text portions, including HTML mime sections).
Her saying she's not a guru is somewhat of an understatement, but I
would like to try to help her get this sorted out so that her
contributions to the list don't get skipped because they're too hard
to parse.
Unfortunately, I have never seen, let alone used, Entourage, so I
thought I'd ask here if someone could suggest where to start looking.
Thanks.
