Radio Button Printing Problems

The 'Control' radio button - when printed - is surrounded by a dark
box ... ugly ... is there any way to change or remove this feature?

Thanks.

Try going to the Properties Window of the radio button and change the
BackStyle Property to 0 - fmBackStyleTransparent

or

try changing the BackColor Property to another color if you wish.

I hope this helps! If so, let me know and click "YES" below.

Hi Ryan and thanks for the reply ...

I don't think it relates to the items you've described. I get it when I
print a doc but my cohort doesn't ... just hoping that maybe someone had seen
it before.

If you've got an email address I can send you a PDF of the print out to see
what you think.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

Have your friend send you their version of the Excel file. Then try to print
it.

Do you have to have the option button print? You could change the
properties of the option button to not print.

Where is this button located, Userform or Worksheet? Is it a Forms or
ActiveX Control? I'm just trying to recreate what you have so I can get a
clue here.

Hey Ryan

We did that. When he prints it - no problem. When I print it - ugly box
appears (and only around the control item itself, not the entire control
frame - so just around the outside edge of the radio button itself, not the
entire control including the text).

Its an input page for a product model so printing it is a routine exercise.

Its in a worksheet - I haven't graduated to userforms yet although I'd like
to .. I think they would solve a lot of the formatting issues I run into.

Its an ActiveX control.

Hi Ryan

Is there a 3D feature of these controls that I can turn off? I notice that
when I change the Special Effect to 'Flat' I get a dark outline around a
radio button and dark lines to the right and below on a checkbox.
