Rainbow effect colour for the text

Hi

I remember once, when colouring the text, using a rainbow-effect; the colour
itself faded from one colour to another. It looked really cool, and I need it
for a t-shirt design I'm making for a gay pride-event in a week, but I just
can't find it now.

Does anyone know how I do it, or even what I'm talking about? =)
