RAM requirements

Hi all,

It seems to me that Office 2004 running on Intel uses an excessive
amount of RAM. I think this is because fo Rosetta, but is there anyway
to reduce this?

Cheers

Not really. Office needs about 500mb to run smoothly, Rpsetta seems to need
around a gig, the system & other apps need some, so I'm guessing that 2Gb is
the minimum realistic configuration.

No. The next version of Office will be a native Intel binary that will not
require Rosetta. Until then, I'm afraid the only answer is to add RAM as
Barry suggested.
