How do I determine available RAM? Programns and downloads
run slow and I am guessing that I am out or have used up
my Total RAM. Is there a way to check?

For WinXP, Right-click a vacant area of the taskbar, click "Task Manager", at
the bottom right is memory used and max available. And if you click the process
tab, you can see how much memory is being used by each process.
