Ran scanpst.exe now emails going to wrong folders

After deleting a microsoft exchange account and running scanpst.exe in
Outlook 2007, my emails are now being directed to archived inbox and sent
folders instead of my regular inbox and sent folders. How do I redirect my
emails to the proper folders?

Tools > Account Settings > Data Files
Set the folder you want to use as your Default
Restart Outlook
