In an earlier post I disagreed with the observation that RAND() in XL2003
can give negative numbers. I retract this statement - there is a bug. In a
sheet with a block 25,000 rows by 5 columns with RAND(), I began to get
negative values on the about the 30th recalculation. On some occasions, the
workbook locked. On a smaller sheet (Sent to me by Don) with a block 2000 by
12 I had to recalculate about 500 times (did this with macro).
Heads up MS.
