One of our users (running latest build of Entourage 2004) has noticed
random contacts appearing in her local email groups. By local groups
I mean the Address Book under Folders On My Computer.
For example, yesterday she added a new individual contact. She was
browsing her local email groups today and noticed the new contact had
been magically added to the group. She has to always double check
groups before sending to them as this has been an ongoing issue for
the past few years.
An older thread located at:
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...k=gst&q=random+contact+group#fc5fba09e100d423
.... recommends rebuilding the database. Although this seems to be the
de-facto recommended fix for all Entourage oddities, i'm wondering if
anyone has actually found the root cause of this issue, and perhaps a
way to avoid it from occurring. Just want to be able to rule out user
error. From what i've seen I suspect it to be a software bug but
cannot replicate it consistently.
Thanks.
