Has anyone ever had a problem w/ e-mail messages getting to the "sent" folder
and then never making it to the recepient? It is happening randomly w/ me
and I have contacted my ISP, my Security Software provider (at the
recommendation of my ISP) and both have been ruled out as the problem. In
addition, I have not been able to find ANY help or way to contact Customer
Service or Tech Support on Microsoft. Any assistance would be GREATLY
appreciated!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance.

So, when your ISP said it wasn't their problem, did they say that they saw
your mail message submitted to their server and that they then saw it get
passed along to the appropriate mail server after that?

As for Tech Support on Microsoft, err....

If I just go to www.microsoft.com, there's a Support link right there. Not
sure how you missed it.

There are two main causes of this: one is that you have an application like an
antivirus program scanning mail. The second is that your mail server is
losing the message. If a message moves from Outbox to Sent Items, as far as
Outlook can tell, the outgoung server has accepted the message. There's
nothing more Outlook can do. Your problem lies after Outlook, which is either
an AV program wedged in between Outlook and your server or the server itself.
To test for the first, uninstall your AV program completely and reinstall it
without the mail scanning feature. That will get it out of Outlook's way and
you'll be just as safe. Testing for the second will require help from your
mail provider.
