random Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library Debug Error

I am using Access 2003 on a system with Windows XP x64. When going back and
forth from the VBA code window and forms design at random times and without
warning I will get the following error;

Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library
Debug Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE

Abnormal Program Termination
(Press Retry to Debug The Application)
(Abort, Retry, Ignore

Regardless of which choice is made, the system crashes and closes down, and
bye-bye to any changes since the last save. The system is up-to-date, and
reinstalling Access didn't have an effect. I read somewhere it might be
related to the print driver for the default printer and to install a generic
print-only printer as the default. I tried that but the random error
persists (usually at least once per hour).

And to quote Tooter Turtle, if my memory serves me correctly for once,
"Help, Mr. Wizard!"

Thanks to any of your wizards out there for any help you can provide. And
if you think I need to post this elsewhere, please let me know.

ouch....

don't know the answer but a couple thoughts...

if you are going 'back & forth' and the crash loses info - - then it sounds
like you are not saving often enough...so I would definitely save
data/rebuild before going back and forth as a start....

I would google the exact error message and find what others are talking
about this...
