Random Number

I want to generate a random number in a cell using RAND()

When the number is generated, and each time when there is a recalculation,
this number changes also.

Once the number is generated, is there a way to make it NOT to change under
any situation?

Access is a relational database. It doesn't have "cells".

Are you trying to do this in a spreadsheet? (spreadsheets have cells) If
so, try posting to a newsgroup that supports Excel.
