random request for "Enter Network Password"

a message pops up on my screen with a request for
"ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD"
the server information is completed, the user name and password is all
filled out. I must just click on OK or CANCEL.
I leave outlook 2007 open all day however randomly this message pops up. if
I am typing at the time all of my information goes into this box. It may pop
up a few times in a row then not again for a few hours.
I called my provider and they believe it is something in outlook. Outlook
does remember the information as the boxes are filled correctly when it pops
up.
