I have see this bug 12 times in the past year. On 3 or 4 different
machines.

FIX IT MICROSOFT!!!!!

1) cut and paste a bunch of sprocs
2) change between query analyzer and Access (using the taskbar)
3) changing back to Access will launch sprocs randomly

I have seen it 12 times and I have gotten nothing but lip.

Test this, diagnose it and fix it Microsoft.

FYI, a newsgroup probably isn't the most appropriate place to post a
complaint like this, as no one from Microsoft necessarily reads the posts.

I'd suggest feeding back through an official channel.

Doug-

I tried to tell people about this while I was contracting at Microsoft, but
they are too busy working on Office 12 to fix the problems in their existing
products. That is what I am so pissed off about-- I've been screaming
bloody murder about this for a year and they won't do a damn thing about it.

I don't care if I can duplicate it-- I don't care if that is enough
information to replicate this bug. TEST IT WITH A HUNDRED TESTERS IF YOU
WANT. YOU WILL FIND IT.
