Range less than/.. min/max to a negative number..

Hello, I have a percent change equation with min/max being used that can not
figure out the easy way for showing it is a negative. (maybe shorter way for
positive half as well?) thanks

idea, not quite working ("-"& makes number text: get a long text number,
not rounded up/dn; min/max is not the same result)

=IF(OR(BI9="",COUNTA(BJ9:BN9)=0),"",
IF(BI9<AVERAGE(BJ9:BN9),"-"&MAX(BI9:BN9)/MIN(BI9:BN9)%-100,MAX(BI9:BN9)/MIN(BI9:BN9)%-100))

or is min / max, getting a different number supposed to be correct??, as in:

Hi, think found answer, thought had tried this already.. but just having a
negative sigh "-" surround entire variable did inverse the item. too many
numbers,, don't know if on right track anyways: 2 equations makes
deviation.. max/min or min/max, using: ("-" sign now working, thanks).
