Range Name deleting

Hello All
I have a problem with a range name, in Excel 97.

range name is PA, and is linked to another excel file.

I cant not re-assign the link to another file, or delete
the range name or file link any Ideas?

A tip from Jan Karel Pieterse:

Simply toggle the R1C1 reference style to R1C1 and back
and Excel will prompt you for a legal name for each and
every name it finds corrupt. It will do so for all open
workbooks!

The toggle is under Tools|Options|General Tab|R1C1 reference style.
