I just captured some PowerPoint 2007 (pptx) projects to avi video using
Camtasia studio. All went well until I made a dvd to view on TV.
The regular version I made looks like a small square in the middle of the TV
screen. I set PowerPoint slideshow tab to resolution 800x600 and under
design tab (page setup) to slides sized for 4:3 ratio.
Then I made that same presentation into a widescreen DVD by changing
resolution to 960x600 and slides sized for 16:9 ratio. That wide DVD looks
even worse. It still looks small in the middle of the TV screen, but it
looks stretched out and unnatural.
What am I doing wrong ? I do not have a widescreen monitor on my computer.
Does that make a difference ? I tried using higher resolution, but I don't
think I have enough processing power to capture much higher resolutions than
I used. Any advice on PowerPoint settings to get a good screen capture
will be appreciated.
Thanks
