RBS and My Organization

Do the categories "My Organization", "My Projects" and "My Tasks" have
special meaning to the RBS? I am trying to set up groups that cannot
see each other's projects. If a project manager is in the group with
the "My Projects" category then they should not be able to view
another project manager's projects - isn't that correct? Any
explanation would be helpful. Thanks!

If you wish to set up an environment in which groups of project managers can
see one another's projects, but cannot see the projects of managers in other
groups, then you will need to do the following to make this happen:

1. In PWA, remove all of the project managers from the Project Managers
group
2. Create one custom Group for each group of project managers and add them
to their respective Group
3. Create one custom Category for each group of project managers listing
the specific projects that they can see, and add the Group to its respective
Category

Do know that there is no automatic solution to your specific situation using
the RBS field to determine who can see what projects. In the solution I
detail above, each time a new project is added to the Project Server
database, the Project Server administrator will need to manually add the
project to the correct Category.

If I am misunderstanding your need, then please clarify exactly what you
need. Hope this helps.
