The RBS structure has nothing to do with the update notifications, as these
are determined by who is the Manager of the project. The Manager is the one
who actually published the resource assignments (Collaborate - Publish - All
Information or Collaborate - Publish - New and Changed Assignments). From
what you state in your post, it sounds like you were the person who
published the assignments in one or more projects, which is something you
should not be doing. To fix this problem, you will need to ask the project
manager of each project to do the following:
1. Open each project which they manage
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
3. Click OK
Doing so will redirect the task updates to the correct project manager.
