RBS ?

Does the RBS support a matrix organization? That is, multiple
reporting lines to where lets say the project manager for fiscal
systems is not only accountable to the director of administrative
systems in IT, but also the chief financial officer/controller
(business unit).

The business unit head would need read access to the plans as well as
the administrative boss in IT.

Make sense? Please let me know how this works.

Andy --

The RBS field does not directly support what you wish to accomplish as the
RBS is not a multi-value field. However, you can accomplish what you wish
through the use of custom Groups and Categories to control "who sees what"
in the system. Hope this helps.

Andy:

The RBS is closely aligned with the idea of a Resource Manager and a
Resource. Matrixed roles typically define management relationships outside
the resource manager/resource or "direct report" relationship.
