[Don harbour]

I keep getting an error message from 'System
Administrator' as follows: 553 sorry, that domain isn't
in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1). This occurs when
I reply to valid email addresses. What is error 553? What
is rcpthosts? I cannot find an answer anywhere in
Microsoft self help. Is there a fix to this problem? I
have loaded all the updates to Windows 2000 and to my
Outlook 2002.

It could mean that your SMTP server (your ISP's?) is on a blacklist - do a
search at http://openrbl.org/

You probably need to authenticate to your outgoing server. This can be set
up on the "Outgoing Server" tab for your account (click "More Settings..."
on the account page).
