Re – Excel Wizard INSERT + NAME + DEFINE NAME

1. Enters the dialog box, INSERT + NAME + DEFINE NAME.
2. The box (RefEdit control) labeled [Refers To :] is apparently
deficient to fit a relatively longer formula.
3. As the formula extends beyond the right edge of the control box,
editing of the trailing portion of the formula has become increasingly
formidable due to inaccessibility thereof.
4. In order to access the trailing portion of the formula, one would
mouse-click-and-hold near the right end of the control box ; and then,
by maintaining the grip on the mouse, drag slightly further towards
the right side until the trailing portion of the formula appears
thereof.
5. Suffice to say that as the formula grows yet longer, editing is
restricted to the extreme left portion and extreme right portion of
the formula ; the middle portion of the formula has become
increasingly difficult to access in-situ.
6. At times by chance, some of the middle portion of the (long)
formula may slip into view, subject to rather nimble control of the
mouse near the right end of the control box.
7. The trials and tribulations of manipulating the mouse and
interacting with the control box concurrently are beyond the
description of words, sigh.
8. More often than not, while one attempts to access the middle
portion of the (long) formula, it would simply dither back-and-forth
inside the control box.
9. Giving chase and the (long) formula is not unlike a very elusive
game to catch-up with.
10. While the mouse-cursor remains blinking inside the control box,
tapping the left and right arrow keys would drive the editing session
fast into a state of quagmire. Nothing else could help to improve the
situation. Very frustrating experience indeed.
11. The question is, how could the control box be practically enlarged
in order to accommodate a long formula ?
12. Please advise.
13. Regards.
