RE-Activating Office XP

J

J.Brett Moar

Hello, Is there a way to re-activate Office XP Pro. If Needed In the future
Without having to re-activate over the internet or phone..Is currently
activated But things happen so I Would like to know if there is some file
that has the activating data that can be used to activate it again if needed
instead of activating over the internet or phone....Same thing needed for
Windows XP Home if possible. Both are installed with no changes to the
computer hardware etc. as I Undrstand activation won't work if there are
major changes to the computer.

Thanks

I'll hop on this. Don't have your answer, do have your
problem. Trashed my computer. Boughgt a new one. Installed
Office XP. Now it tells me it is already activated on
another computer. That is true but I am not using as the
computer is destroyed.

I have A similar question, is there any way to reformat
my hard disk and then re-install Office XP Pro? Will I
be able to reactivate it easily or will I have to spend
hours with Dealing with Microsoft? Also I plan on
changing my RAM, CD-Drive, and Adding and additional Hard
Disk, I've heard changes may cause XP to stop working,
will this affect anything?

Hi Mark,

You can use the telephone activation method to
speak to a MS technician to reactivate MS Office XP
after hardware changes. It's usually pretty quick :)
