Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I've created a Design Template with various Slide Layouts that all include left, center, and right footers.
If I build a presentation using this template, the footers appear on the pages as expected.
If I then delete a footer on a page, and then re-apply the slide layout by selecting the layout from the tabbed ribbon above the slide, the footer does NOT re-appear.
If I manually go to the Edit:Show Header and Footer dialog box and re-check the box for the missing footer element it does re-appear.
I find it odd that the Design Template:Slide Layouts do not seem to re-inforce displaying the placeholders. Am I missing something?
