re-design/revamp website

Hi all,

Am currently looking at completely re-designing/revamping my club's current
website. I have used Front Page before, but only for one off pages. Is
there an easy way of designing/developing a website from scratch. Also am
wanting to make the website alot more user friendly using interactive menus,
is this possible with FP?

the current website the club has is www.bvttc.org, the kind of look i am
looking for for the new website is www.bvttc.org/trial.htm .

I am also wanting to have a members area for club members to access is this
easy to do and would it be possible to do with FP?

Also, Also...the web host (www.zyworld.com) the club have is very slow and
has a very small web space limit (40GB) and comparatively expensive to other
web hosts. i have looked at bravenet.com , but i want to make sure that the
host i choose is able to cope with everything that i would like to be able to
do on the website and at a reasonable cost as the club is non profit making

Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

regards,

Hi regards,,
Is there an easy way of designing/developing a website from scratch.

There are many easy ways to design a web site from scratch. The easiest way
is to open FrontPage, select to create a new web site, type in the URL, and
let FrontPage create it for you. All done. Except for the content. And of
course, the content is what makes it easy or not after that.
Also am wanting to make the website alot more user friendly using
interactive menus,
is this possible with FP?

FrontPage is an HTML development tool kit. HTML is text. You can create HTML
documents with NotePad. So, yes, you can do anything with a web site in
FrontPage that you can do with a web site using any other tools.
I am also wanting to have a members area for club members to access is
this
easy to do and would it be possible to do with FP?

There's that word "easy" again. "Easy" is a relative term. What's easy for
me may not be easy for you. Walking and chewing gum at the same time is easy
for you, but not for an infant. It's all a matter of how much you know,
about HTML, related Internet technologies, and FrontPage, that determines
how "easy" it will be. As for whether it's possible, as I mentioned before,
anything that can be done with web pages can be done using FrontPage.
Also, Also...the web host (www.zyworld.com) the club have is very slow and
has a very small web space limit (40GB) and comparatively expensive to
other
web hosts. i have looked at bravenet.com , but i want to make sure that
the

to
do on the website and at a reasonable cost as the club is non profit
making

That I can't answer.

I like the one you've got right now...

Anyway, for my website/business (well non-commercial-non-profit
business) I use Google Pages, but only 100MB (all I need!) and I wrote
all the HTML from scratch...

Not much for me to suggest.

www.freeservers.com - could be an option

Seriously, this is Google, try GOOGLING what you want!
