Re-Install Activation Question: Office 2004

jeff

I have the Student version of Office 2004 (Mac) with 3 installs. My
second install is on a macbook that just lost the hard drive to a
mechanical failure. How can I re-install without using my last install?
Can I use the same code for the second or do I need to contact
Microsoft to re-authorize? I haven't located anything in the knowledge
base that adresses this issue. jeff

Thanks, Daiya, I will give it a try. -jeff

You can use the same code again.

MacOffice doesn't use activation/authorization, that's why you can't find
anything about it.

There is no such thing as a "last install". You can re-install as many
times as necessary as you reformat existing computers or switch to new
computers.
