re-install of Outlook and One Note 2007

I recently downgraded from Vista to XP, and I am trying to get everything set
back up. One problem I am having is that I had some tasks linked between One
Note 2007 and Outlook 2007. I re-installed Outlook, and then re-installed One
Note. I copied files from my old One Note Notebook directory (the Vista hard
drive) to my new One Note Notebook directory (XP hard drive). I see all my
notes in One Note, but my tasks show up as "Task not yet found in Outlook".
The option to create new Outlook tasks in One Note is greyed out.

By the way, I can see all the tasks in Outlook, and can even jump back to
them by clicking on the link within Outlook.

How can I re-link my tasks from One Note, or at the very least delete them
and gain the ability to add new tasks?

Thanks,
Kris

I am guessing here, but is it possible the tasks are not being found because
of the differences in the folder structure between XP and Vista?

Hi Kris,

Kathy probably provides a better guess than mine, but I did have a problem
with those outlook options being greyed out. What solved that for me was
clicking on a page and hitting the 'email' button. Even though I cancelled
the email, after that the tools menu options related to outlook began working
again.

Worth a shot. Hope it works,
CW
