Re-install Office 2007

I recently had my laptop's hard driver replaced, and with that Office
2007 Home and Student was wiped out. I have one activation left on this
product, and don't want to waste it on a re-install. Will the laptop
recognize that it once had Office installed and not count it as another
installation? If not, how do I have Microsoft adjust and not count it
again?

There is no such thing as "One activation left" because you are allowed
to install YOUR license on any new system you buy provided in total your
installation does not exceed 3 at any point in time. So, if you had a
disaster and you had to install again then MicroScum is required to
activate your product. You always get a telephone method to do so where
you can very calmly explain your situation and they are required to help
you by law.

Go ahead and you should be ok. You can always come back here and I can
show you how to crack it.
