I have an annoying little problem.
Due to an XP crash, I reinstalled XP, and after that
Office 2000. I did the installation "straight over" the
old installation, in order to save as much info as
possible.
Now, everything works, but whenever I start Word or Excel
it always starts by saying "Preparing installation", and
after that "Wait while Office 2000 SP-1 is being
configured". After some progress bars and windows
flashing by, it's running OK.
I suppose it has something to do with the fact that I
didn't do a "clean" installation, but is there anyway to
fix this WITHOUT reinstalling everything (since if so, I
then must reconfigure Outlook and all other stuff, not
again!)
