Re-Installation overwrites existing inbox?

I had to re-install Outlook 2000 because of a across-the-
board problem with MS Office 2000. After the re-
installation I cannot find my previous inbox, sent mail,
saved mail, etc. folders.

Does anyone know:

1) The default location where Outlook puts the inbox, sent
mail, etc.?

2) If a re-installation would over-write the existing
files, such that the old files are history?
