Re-installed Outlook Performs Illegal Operation

Please help! I had to delete and re-install my Outlook - not the whole
office suite - just the Outlook. It is Outlook 97. Now when I go to click
on the desktop icon, it says it has performed an illegal operation and will
shut down. It gives the following details. Does anyone know what they mean
and what I can do in order to operate Outlook again? Thanks. Candy

I'm not having a problem with my Explorer. The problem is when I try to
open my re-installed OUTLOOK:
