re-installing Microsoft Office 2000 Professional

I am trying to re-install my program after my computer
was repaired. When asked for my product key, I enter it in
the computer and it tells me that it is not valid. It is
the correct number, however it just will not take the info
and allow me to go to the next step to install my disk.
Could you please advise me as to what to do to solve this?
I appreciate your help. I use Office quite a bit, and need
to get it installed. Thank you in advance. My e-mail is

Hi, Francine,

First, make sure that you haven't used 0 for O, or 6 for 9, or 5 for 2,
which are common entry errors. If that's not the case, see if either of
