Re-installing MS Office 2008 with sameproduct key after restoring mac to factorysettings?

Hi,

I intend to restore my Macbook back to its factory settings with the disc that comes in the box. This is all fine and I've backed up all of my files etc. etc. The only issue I'm having is with MS Office 2008 (I have the home & student edition). As you probably know, they give you three product keys so that you can install it on up to three computers - we've used all of the keys on separate macs.

Will I be able to re-install Office with the same product key I used when I installed it the first time (before restoring my mac)? - it is the same computer.

I don't know what to do because if it won't let me re-install with the same key, I'm going to have buy another copy of Office for a lot of money :(

Thanks :)

Of course you can reinstall it on the same computer. Just be sure to use the
correct product key, so it does not conflict with your 2 other
installations.
