re-installing Outlook 2000

A problem caused by my Kids switching off the computer. When Opening
Outlook 2000 it requests you to create a new personal folder or search
for the old one. Both result in Outlook crashing although with
different error messages. I have tried, repair and un- re-installing
with no effect. Any suggestions.

How were you able to uninstall and re-install Outlook by
itself, since Outlook is part of the Office suite?
