Re-installing Outlook 2000.

About 2 years ago, I installed Office 2000 Premium.
Recently, every time I start Outlook, I get the generic
message "This program has performed an illegal operation
and will be shut down..."
If I re-install Outlook, will it preserve all of my email
folders, contacts, etc?
Also, there didn't appear to be any way to re-install a
single program (Outlook) instead of al of Office 2000. Am
I missing something?

Try using Detect and Repair first. What it basically does is to reinstall
Outlook (and all of Office for that matter) so reinstalling would be
redundant.
