Re-installing

I want to remove and re-install Outlook 2000 because it hangs up on m
at times.

I tried re-installing and this did not work. I want to remove , but
want to save all my old emails and contacts.

Can someone tell me which files I need to save?

I look for the .pst files but they are hidden. Is it easy to access an
save these files?
