A problem surfaced on Friday.
1. PM saves project as a file to hard drive
2. PM asks Admin to delete plan on server. Plan is deleted.
3. PM is working the plan on hard drive, adds a resource to a couple
of tasks
4. PM uploads plan back to server. Titles it the same thing as one
that was deleted
5. Publishes the plan (pushes tasks to users)
6. Resource now does not see task that was assigned to her in the
first plan (the plan that was intially deleted from server), but can
see the two new tasks that were added when the plan was off-line
7. Why does the originally assigned task not show up in PWA Tasks for
this user?
I did a test on this to see if I could reproduce the event, and it did
reproduce the same result. I'm thinking re-loading with the same name
is causing the problem .....any ideas? I need to ask the PM's why
they would want to do this in the first place.
