Joan,
Thanks for the tip. I looked in the knowledgebase and did
find an article or two about the possibility of posting to
the wrong record. The article did not describe my case
exactly, but it is close. Of note, it indicated that
records are deleted. It is similar enough that I believe
we will load service pack 2 on Access97 that we are using,
and try again.

I'm not sure what you are responding to, but if you were running Access 97
with no service packs or only SR1, then you definitely should install SR2,
and then also install Jet SP3!
