Reactivation of Office XP

R

Raz

I have Office XP Student edition on a laptop that is
currently broken. The repair guys compensated me with a
new laptop and are now trying to save as much of the data
left.

I try to install Office XP on my new laptop and it denies
my activation since it knows that the software is still
present on the original broken laptop.

So, knowing that I can't get back into the old one and it
will eventually be trashed anyway, is it possible for me
to get my copy activated on this new laptop?

Or do I have to buy a whole new liscence?

Thanks for any feedback...

Hi Raz,

You can use the telephone activation method
to speak to a MS technician.
