Read in External data

I'm searching for a "simple" example of Reading in an external file (.tiff or
jpeg etc.)
Then saving it to a table so I can link it to a record.

Suggestions?

You are better off keeping those files external to Access and just saving
their location (file path) in an Access table. You can then use a hyperlink
to view them.

Only store the file path with the filename in your db. Do not embed them
into your db! For more inf look at

Basically whether it be a word doc, excel spreadsheet, image,... they all
get handled the same way. I would suggest you look at a few image sample dbs
to take inspiration, such as:
