I am using Word 2003.
My boss gave me a lengthly document to edit. This document contains Word
text, excel graphs and excel tables. As I begin to edit the program I save
it with a new name so that I always have the original to go back to if
needed. After a while, Word considers this a "Read Only" document and makes
me save it under a new name. I do not know why this is happening. This
happened last year when I had to edit a similar document and I ended up with
20 saved documents before I completed the editing. Does anyone have any idea
of what is happening and how to stop this from happending? Does anyone have
any suggesting as to what I can to to correct this on this new document? I
would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thank you - Aurora
