Hello all,
Normally, if a user tries to open a document from a network resource
that is already opened by another user, it would appear a warning
window indicating two options: open it in "read only" mode or receive a
notification when it is freed.
What can be happening when a document opens in "read only" mode without
more options, when another user opens it first?
The PC has Windows 2000 SP4 and we are opening rtf documents with Word
2000. I have try Q328170 of the KB of MS without success. The user with
the "read only" problem has total control on the network resource
whereas the other user has only reading permissions.
Thank you very much.
