Read-only embeded font?

Kurt

I'm trying to open a Word 2000 file that was last edited
with Word 200 on a Windows NT4 system. I'm also using
Word 2000, but on a Win 2000 Pro system. The file won't
open, and I only get an error message that says, "This
document cannot be edited because it contains a read-only
embeded font." What does THAT mean? How can I fix it?

I read a thread on this issue not too long ago and the conclusion was
some fonts are licensed and if you do not have the license you can not
use it. Perhaps someone who knows more about this can provide more
information.
