Read Only Files

When I burned documents to a CD, they came out as "read
only" files. Can I change that so I can manipulate these
files. I went to properties and unchecked the box for
read only but that didn't work.

Hi Helen,

You will have to copy the file onto the hard disk to change the Read only
attribute.

Files on a CD are always read-only, because they are, literally, burnt onto
the CD. Copy them back to your hard disk, then go to properties and uncheck
the readonly box.
