Read Only files

I have "sections" for classes I took last semester, and I would like to make
them "read only" so I do not inadvertently modify them.

If you don't need to refer to them, you can right-click and select
"Close" to remove them from the ON hierarchy (but they will continue to
exist in the subdirectory of you "My Notebook" folder).

I'm not sure offhand what effect setting the Read-only attribute in
Explorer would have.

You can also lock each section from within OneNote (Password Protection
Task Pane). That would prevent accidental updates.
