Greetings,
I recently bought a JVC Everio HDD camcorder. I recorded some movies and put
them on my computer (XP Home, SP2) into a folder on my desktop. I opened
Windows Movie Maker and when to the import menu. I selected the folder but
none of the movie files were visible.
I then got out of movie maker and right clicked on the folder, went to
properties, and saw that it said "read only." Well, I unchecked the box for
read only and clicked apply. I then right clicked properties again, and the
box was still marked as read only.
I experimented with this and found that any folder I make starts as read
only, and stays that way.
I would like to know how to fix this. Any assistance is helpful.
Thanks in advance.
