Read Only Permissions

I've created a Project plan and published it to Server.
Somehow, through others access or perhaps a permissions
change I may have made on the Server, I only have read-
only permissions on it now. I do not want to save-as
another filename, my boss and I want to each make changes
and save to the same file of course.

Where could I have gone wrong, and what can I do to
restore write permissions for only the boss and I, but
keep it read-only for others?

I've gone onto the Server box and made sure all sharing
and permissions are kosher through explorer. Also double
checked permissions via Server Admin in Web Access. One
thing I noticed is that my boss was the last to modify
the Project file. I am listed as the author of the
file. Somehow he is the only one who can save changes to
the file now for the past few days. Help!
